Finally. I have dreamed of this land after it was recommended to me. Trust me, the real Daocheng is more beautiful than the photos I took. We, the four, took the shuttle from Chengdu. It's a long day on bus, more than ten hours. The landscape around the road is beautiful.
My seat was right by the window. Outside was the edge. The mountains under the clouds are Zhongdian Snow Mount. I was so excited to nearly drop my camera.
The ticket of Yading Natural Reserve was 270 yuan including a electric tour car, valid for three days as our hotel is in Yading Village.
We planned to walk around in Xian Nai Ri and the Pearl Sea and Chonggu Caodian, all close to the Chonggu Temple, easy for hiking. But to the Luorong Niuchang, it's too far, so we bought the car ticket.
Lucky people. They are the chosen inhabitants.
I have to say, hiking is hard and dangerous. The road is rocky and most are small paths on the edge of the mountains. But it really shows stunning scenery that I couldn't see outside. Some would like to hire local Tibetan to ride the donkey. It's still hard. You have to walk if it's too steep. The Milk Sea was our destination.
At last, I have one suggestion. There are few returning public buses from Yading Natural Reserve. And actually I couldn't find any guideboard in Yading. We waited for one hour when we returned. It was after we connected the officer that they sent a bus to take us back to ticket office. Thanks for the local officer.
